Kitzbühel welcomes spring with sports and action! With the Kitzbühel Spring Games, visitors and participants can look forward to an action-packed event series combining winter sports, retro vibes, and a vibrant atmosphere at the legendary Jufen Beach. Across four weekends in March and April, exciting competitions, cool DJ beats, and top-notch entertainment are all part of the program.
Event Line-Up
March 15 – Bumps & Jumps: Pure adrenaline! Right next to the Jufen valley station, a spectacular mogul course will be set up where skiers of all ages can show off their skills. The jury will evaluate the best mogul performances – a highlight for both participants and spectators alike!
March 22 – Spring Swing Wedel Contest: A competition in true retro style! At the Wedel Contest at Jufen Beach, teams of 2 to 5 people will compete with creative wedeling formations. Accompanied by groovy DJ beats, we’ll celebrate a revival of the iconic ski styles from past decades – a true festival for nostalgics and sports fans alike!
March 29 – Kitzbühel Extreme Pool Slide Contest: The ultimate crowd-puller! At the famous Pool Slide Contest, skiers and snowboarders attempt to glide across a water basin – who will make it across dry? The jury rewards creative 80’s outfits and spectacular freestyle tricks. While the brave participants fly over the water, spectators can enjoy great DJ beats and cool drinks for top-notch entertainment.
April 12 – Masters of the Swing: Where winter sports meet golf! In this unique combination competition, teams of four first compete in a giant slalom race on the Hahnenkamm-Jufen slope, before heading to the Golf Course Kaps for a 9-hole Texas Scramble tournament. It’s the perfect way to bid farewell to the ski season and welcome spring with the first golf swings of the year.
